Friday

The good news of Ginger's progress has been uplifting for us, but this has been a difficult week for her - adjusting to Spaulding, sorting through her fears, anxiety and emotions. I feel helpless - but this too shall pass...
Today she has been in a lot of pain and we are told that she has to go back to the hospital to have her gallbladder removed...a set back she is not taking gracefully.
I never dreamed I would spend a Friday night watching Ginger sleep in peace..
Please keep Ginger in your prayers.

Aunt Jean and family:

We are over at Mom's house and are checking up on Ginger's progress. We are sorry to hear about her surgery but hope the gallbladder is a "small" set back. We are here tonight to celebrate Meredith's confirmation. The ceremony is actually tomorrow night right smack in the middle of the Pat's game. I can hear all of you gasping now.

God bless Ginger.

I check the blog every day and always look forward to hearing Ginger's news. Her progress seems a lot like a roller coaster ride: I get so excited when I hear she is heading up, and even though she may go through some down periods, I must keep in mind that another high will be on its way. Eventually, I imagine that things will level off, but for now, we will keep the prayers coming and know that our prayers and Ginger's resilience and strength will get her though the tough spots and back on the road up to recovery. She is in my prayers hourly.
