The candlelight prayer service was amazing - I for one was unaware of the extent of the loving, generous, supportive community of friends that Ginger, Tom and Patrick have been blessed with in Southborough and beyond - it was comforting, peaceful, graceful and extremely well organized - hard to imagine that Ginger was not involved in the preparation! Patrick did a great job of making sure every one's candles were kept lit during the ceremony despite the gentle rain and wind - after the service he asked us when the next party was going to be held!

Ginger remains in a coma. The shunt was removed today - a good sign that the pressure on her brain has leveled off. She was hooked up to the EEG for 24 hours to monitor her seizure activity. The doctors tell us that she is out of the acute stage of the brain injury, but has a long road ahead in rehabilitation when she wakes up. We will patiently await her awakening and embrace her rehabilitation with all that we have - as we know she would do for any of us.

Your prayers are a great source of comfort to us - thank you.
