Tom was interacting with Ginger in the a.m. Kate, Mom and I were at the hospital this afternoon - Ginger recognized us, responded to our questions with a nod or movement and made some very funny expressions in response to jokes and statements that we knew would rile her!!


The doctor is very happy to have found the cause of her fever - a bacterial infection in her stool. We had to wear gloves and gowns because it is very contagious -please no visitors except family. They placement of the tube into her gallbladder went fine without complication - they drained a lot of fluids - and she was sleepy after the procedure from the sedation, but awake and interacting when Rich arrived for a visit.

All good news today - I am so happy to see her improving.
