Thursday

The neurosurgeon told Tom that the MRI revealed injury to the frontal and viretal (sp?) lobes caused by the skull hitting the brain, but no visible permanent damage. Hopefully new cells will repair the damage.

They believe Ginger had a seizure last night and are hooking her up to the EEG for 24 hours to monitor. When they put the pillow under her head this morning, her eyes opened momentarily, but no recognition...

Keep up the prayers for good news.

I hope and pray this is good news for Ginger. "No permanent damage done" sounds wonderful. We are all pulling for you Ginger. Is there an address that we can send cards, etc. to? Thanks for this blog. I'll check it daily. Our thought and prayers are constant.

I am praying that the news gets better and better- and Ginger sits up in bed and asks for a milkshake and a cheeseburger. I among many many others will be thrilled to deliver! You are in my thoughts.

I heard of Ginger's accident through my dearest friend, Alex Giedymin. The night Alex called me about this,...I touched my Dad's rosary beads that hang on my headboard and prayed to our Lord for her speedy recovery and asked my dear Dad to watch over her, her family, and her friends in this difficult time.

A prayer to St. Peregrine, the patron for the sick...Just as Jesus reached out and touched you with His healing hand, we pray that Ginger will be strengthened in body and spirit, be healed and fully recover by Jesus Christ through your intercession.

My heartfelt love and prayers to Ginger, her family, and her friends.
