Tuesday

Great day for Ginger. The tube was removed, and she is breathing on her own. Her first words in two weeks were, "Get me the f*** out of here" with a flip of the bird for all her caring doctors and nurses. She is quite restless and intolerant of the restraints on her arms and legs but her spirit is classic. She speaks with a low voice-sometimes coherent and other times not. As soon as she can swallow and her liver function improves, she will leave ICU for the next phase of treatment. The doctors and nurses are impressed with today's progress. No doubt your prayers have been instrumental.

Thank God for Ginger's feisty nature. It is the fight in her that will get her back to us soon. Thank you for the daily update. It is so important to me and so many others. God bless.

Reading about Ginger today made me laugh out loud. We all wish her a fast and full recovery.

It made me laugh, too. This is so encouraging!!

I have to say, though, that I miss her terribly. I really do. I know I am no different than any of us, and certainly my feelings can't match what Patrick and Tom and her family are going through, but I just wanted to say it. I really miss her.

Looking forward to reading more good news!

With love,
Nancy
