Ginger was very sleepy today - she is sedated to keep her from pulling the tube out and to allow her to rest while she fights the infections. Dr. Torres told us that he will attempt to take the tube out on Tuesday - if Ginger can't breathe on her own - he will put the tracheotomy in place which will be better for her and her caregivers. Here's hoping for a week of more progress for Ginger.

I think of Tom and Patrick all the time, too. I hope they are hanging in there. Thanks for giving us updates on them as well. Let us know if there is anything in particular we could do or that they need. I am starting off the week with prayers for both of them and for Ginger.
